From start to finish dealing with Daniel James Residential was a great experience!
My house had previously been on the market with another local estate agent and within the first 4 months we had zero viewings, so I was recommended to use Daniel James Residential.
The approach to the sale was refreshing with some nice ideas and features to attract prospective buyers from the use of an extremely professional walk through video to some virtual staging which really made my property stand out,
Within 2 months the property was sold.
However this was not the end of this transaction, We were in a chain of four others which for various reasons became extremely protracted and went on for a further 4 months! I must add this was nothing to do with Daniel James, My Solicitor or myself but the lower chain which at certain times made me question whether this was the right deal for me.
However, Daniel, Jane and Mary where always just a phone call away giving reassurance that this chain was solid, but for me what made a real difference was the way that Daniel took charge of the situation orchestrating the whole chain when things got difficult the whole team went above and beyond to keep me informed every step of the way and finally the sale was concluded.

Daniel started the house moving journey with us back in June 2024. Within 2 weeks on the market we had a solid buyer who offered us 98% of the asking price. We soon had a short chain but the hassle we had with the developer’s ‘solicitors’ making fundamental mistakes throughout the conveyancing process tested Daniel’s perseverance and professionalism but he came through and in the first week of February 2025 we have all exchanged our contracts and are completing and moving

From the moment Daniel first answered my telephone call I knew he was the Estate Agent for me. Daniel James is a relatively new entrant to the Oswestry estate agent market and from the moment I met Daniel I knew he was the estate agent to choose. Daniel is “on it”: he provides excellent client service and actively managed the process, driving it to exchange. He uses technology to streamline the on-boarding process and took time to learn about the house and ensured this was shared with buyers by doing the viewings himself (unlike the other 2 estate agents I met). Daniel listened to my feedback on the photos and he shared my attention to detail with the video and drone footage. Daniel found us a buyer without even going to market and proactively managed the buyers through a long and sometimes painful sale process, building a relationship with them as well as me. Daniel’s communication was excellent, keeping me updated throughout and responding quickly to me. I was recommended Daniel James by a friend who knew he would get me moving. I had sat with a high street estate agent for a great many quiet months losing faith in selling. Daniel was brilliant; we got a great video and online presence. I was also pleased that he refreshes the images regularly and bullds interest.

Daniel is not from the “suit, tie and briefcase” brigade, where properties are, “delightful” or “exquisite” or even, “exquisitely delightful”! Oh no, Daniel is a new, rare breed of Estate Agent, like none we’ve seen around here before!
Of the three we invited, Daniel was head and shoulders above the others and we easily made our decision.
I’ve seen him described as “a dapper young man” and I couldn’t put it better myself! Smart casual is his style, very smart! Well-groomed, polite and with an open, honest and caring personality that you feel you can open up to – I probably did so rather too much!
Over the first week or two, through regular telephone updates, Daniel always had time for a chat and would subtly get to know you and the life of the family whose home he’s been chosen to sell. Likewise, I got an insight into him, his background, his home life, his beloved wife and young son.
So, what does Daniel do differently? Most noticeably, he conducts all viewings himself which we’d never experienced before but we really liked this method. He always arrives in good time, he updates regularly without being chased, he calls back promptly if unable to take your call, he’ll help you look for your next place in terms of advice and speaking to estate agents on your behalf, he sees things through.
Daniel may be young and recently established but he brings with him 15 years or so of experience and clearly knows what people want. I thank him for conducting the sale of our home and wish him great success in his future.
Finally, a sentence I’m sure I wouldn’t be adding for any other estate agent …. I hope we will stay in touch!
