
As we come to the close of the year, we’re genuinely delighted to be ending it in a stronger position than the year before.
It’s been a year of progress, resilience, and momentum for Daniel James Residential. We welcomed a new team member, expanded our capacity to serve clients, and most importantly, achieved a 31% increase in properties sold year on year. That growth is something we’re incredibly proud of, especially given the wider market conditions.
The second half of the year certainly presented challenges. The announcement of the budget had a noticeable impact on buyer and seller confidence, temporarily taking much of the market off the table. However, as we move forward, sentiment is clearly shifting. With a competitive mortgage market and buyers increasingly asking themselves, “What are we waiting for?”, confidence is returning.
We head into the new year with real optimism and high expectations for a busy Q1. There are some wonderful homes preparing to launch to the market, and early buyer activity is already encouraging.
This year also brought some particularly rewarding milestones. We successfully sold two homes for the second time, a true testament to trust, long-term relationships, and repeat business. Our Google reviews increased by 60%, reinforcing the value of personal service and consistent communication. To top it off, we were honoured to receive awards from three separate industry bodies, recognising the effort, care, and standards we strive to deliver every day.
As we look ahead, we’re excited to continue building on what has been a great year — supporting new clients, welcoming returning ones, and continuing to raise the bar for estate agency in our area.
